“What does Gender Equality mean?”

I saw this piece on the New York Times website, and it seemed extremely relevant to our class. It includes multiple authors’ responses to one question: “What does Gender Equality mean? Is it achievable?” Not only are their answers intriguing, but they also resemble our “big question” responses and provide good examples for future posts. What I find most fascinating about this article is reading about all of the different opinions on a singular issue. Even though all of the authors may support the same cause, it has different meanings and purposes to each and every one of them. Every author uses a different story or piece of historical evidence to bolster his or her argument, making the overall piece that much more moving. I highly suggest you read this!
